Ten best pupils from Georgian schools shall travel to Switzerland for 5 days to visit CERN Central Laboratory. They were selected from 70 pupils participating in “International Science Summer School”.
“International Science Summer School in Georgia” is one of the four projects implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science within Program “Intensified Teaching of English Language.” The project started on August 6 and finished on July 6, 2013 in Tskneti on the basis of Backswood International School –Tbilisi.”
Participants of Science Summer School participants were pupils of 9th, 10th and 11th grades selected based on the results of third tour of National Olympiads (IT, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and basic knowledge of English language. Summer school program covered academic as well as non-academic programs.
10 best pupils selected within the project “Visit of winning students to CERN Central Laboratory,” Georgian pupils will meet foreign scientists, get familiar with the latest technologies, new discoveries and important projects.
