President of SAMSUNG opens a smart school in Georgia

Boo-Keun Yoon, President of the company Samsung, Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Minister of Economy and Acting Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Alexandre Kvitashvili opened a smart school class at Tbilisi State University.

This is the first project carried out in Georgia by SAMSUNG within Social Responsibility Platform. Smart School represents a teaching room equipped with Samsung high-tech touch screen and network linked pads. The school shall encourage increase in the level of education among students. Similar classes are planned to be opened in Public School 1 and vocational education institutions.

Boo-Keun Yoon, President of SAMSUNG, also opened the first official Samsung store.

SAMSUNG was founded in 1938 and represents one of the largest producers of electronic devices in the world.
