Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze held a meeting with participants of Bakuriani Summer School and attended a lecture-seminar of a foreign lecturer together with the students. Within the framework of the Project “Support of Philosophy and Sociology in Georgian State Universities (2013-2015)” a Summer School is being held in Bakuriani from August 15 to 26. The topic of the Summer School is problems of recognition and responsibility in German idealism and their influence on modern theories.”
Lecture –seminars are conducted by professors working in Europe and America (Ludwig Siep, Georg Loman, Niklaus Largier, Johannes Weiss, Theo Kobusch and Stefan Zimmerman) as well as, by the Professors of Tbilisi State University (Mamuka Beriashvili, Levan Gigineishvili, Gogi Gvakharia and Maka Lashkhia). Lectures are in German language with simultaneous Georgian translation.
Selection of Summer School participants was held based on the essay competition. 27 students were selected in total from State Universities of Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Zugdidi.
