Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Lia Gigauri and other officials from the Ministry of Education introduced ongoing and planned projects to representatives of the field of education from Kvemo Kartli. Work visits were organized in Marneuli and Rustavi. 

The presentation made at the meeting covered the following issues:

• Access to education
• Promotion of inclusive education
• School financing and changes in the system of salary payments
• Teachers’ professional development
• Professional orientation and career-planning course
• Safe and healthy school environment
• Electronic teaching resources and technologies
• Rehabilitation of school infrastructure etc.

The presentation also covered already accomplished novelties in the fields of vocational and higher education.

Representatives of educational sphere received answers on all questions. They had opportunity to express their ideas and remarks regarding the ongoing projects. Similar meetings will be held in all regions of Georgia.
