Internal Audit of the Ministry working on Strategic Plan 2014-2016 and Annual Strategy 2014

Representatives of Internal Audit Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia held a work meeting with structural units of the Ministry and Heads of Legal Entities of Public Law.

The goal of the meeting was to define existing and possible risks and to prepare Strategic Plan 2014-2016 and Annual Plan 2014 based on risk analysis.

Strategic Plan 2014-2016 emanates from long-term goals of the Ministry and encompasses a three-year period. Active participation and approaches of structural units and Heads of LEPLs is very important in the process.

A presentation was made on the topic of “The essence of Financial Management and Control and Importance of Internal Audit in the Ministry”. Each Head talked about the ongoing and planned programs, needs and obstacles in the structural units.
