“The Knight in the Panther’s Skin” - presentation of a new album

National
Center of Manuscripts issued a new album-catalogue of “The Knight in the
Panther’s Skin”. The album is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of
edition of a printed version of “The Knight in the Panther’s Skin.” A
presentation was made in Ilia Abuladze Exhibition Hall at National Center
of Manuscripts.
The album includes catalogue of old manuscripts and text illustrations.
It is noteworthy, that illustrations of certain manuscripts have never been published before. The edition also includes materials preserved in the National Center of Manuscripts as well as all manuscripts available in Georgia and abroad.
Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze attended the exhibition together with other honorable guests. The exhibition will be available for everyone within the period of a week and an educational program will start for pupils and students.
