Exhibition of works by the students of College “Aisi”

Agricultural products, wine, wood and thick felt works made in the process of practical work by the students of vocational college “Aisi” were exhibited in the college. The goal of the event was to popularize vocational education, promote agritourism and to attract students, employers and donor organizations to vocational education sector.

Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Agriculture Shalva Pipia, representative from the UNDP, Department of Tourism and tourism agencies, farmers from Farmers’ Informational-Consulting Center, employers of the College “Aisi” visited the exhibition.

An exhibition hall constructed by the College students was opened on the same day. A number of interesting activities and an auction were held within the event.   

There are approximately 600 students  studying on vocational educational programs in college “Aisi. ” The following vocations are taught at the College: farmer, winemaker–winegrower, bee-keeper, fruit and vegetable cultivator, vet, tractor operator, receptionist, guide (geo-tourism etc.), tour operator (agro tourism), cook, mason, plasterer, tile paver, carpenter, electrician, engine craftsman, running parts technician.
