Today, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, principal of Public School №147 and teachers wished the children merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and presented New Year gifts to them. The guests expressed their hope that these children will be able to return to their school and classrooms in the nearest future.

The goal of the project “Providing children suffering from chronic disease (leukemia) with home teaching in inpatient treatment conditions” initiated by the Ministry of Education is to encourage quick social integration of these children and teenagers. A special classroom has been set up at Iashvili Clinic within the framework of the project. 

6 teachers from Public School №147 has been going to Iashvili Clinic since the school year 2013-2014 in order to give lessons to 30 pupils in compliance with the National Curriculum. This process is conducted together with the multidisciplinary team and psychologists.
