A new project for general education quality improvement is to start

MCA-Georgia held a presentation of the project “Professional development of teachers and school principals and elaboration of class evaluation system” with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, The goal was to inform public, stakeholders, educational institutions, international, non-governmental  and donor organizations on MCA-Georgia general education project and the abovementioned initiative.

Private consulting company GOPA has been selected by MCA-Georgia based on the international bidding. GOPA is implementing world-scale projects.

GOPA shall implement necessary activities with the aim of improving general education quality in Georgia which encompasses professional development of teachers and principals and creation of class evaluation system, the company shall conduct the System analysis, assess the needs and assist the Ministry of Education and Science and its agencies in the policy development. 

Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science, Richard Norland, the US Ambassador to Georgia, Jim McNicolas, MCC Resident Country Director and Magda Maghradze, CEO of MCA-Georgia attended the presentation.
