Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia met up to 500 students of Akaki Tsereteli State University in Kutaisi. The meeting was conducted in the form of a lecture and dialogue. It aimed at informing students on the ongoing and planned projects in the direction of higher education.

In the beginning of the meeting, Tamar Sanikidze introduced the higher education and science novelties implemented throughout 2013 to the audience. Tamar Sanikidze spoke about the following projects:

• State financing of Bachelor educational programs
• State program for financing research projects;
• Research grants for PhD educational programs
• Summer and winter schools
• Development program for the libraries etc.

The students received answers on all the important questions from  Minister Sanikidze.
