A working meeting was organized at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with the representatives of Estonian Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia. The meeting aimed at drawing up future pplans and assessing current condition of the projects “Sharing successful experience of Estonia to promote Georgian vocational education enhancement” which started in 2014.
Estonian institutions involved in the project are represented by the Examination and qualification Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of Estonia, 8 vocational education institutions (Tallinn Polytechnic School, Parnu Vocational Education Center, Estonian Marine School, Ida Viru Vocational Training Center, Rakvere Industrial School, Olustvere School of Service and Rural Economics, Tartu Vocational Education Center, Tallinn Construction School) and Foundation “Innove”.
Participant of the project from Georgia are: the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and 8 State institutions carrying out vocational educational programs EMIS, Vocational College “Mermisi”, Batumi Maritime Academy (BSMA), Public College “New Wave”, Public College “Iberia”, Public College “Aisi”, Vocational College “Fazisi”, Vocational College “Opizari”.
The goal of the Georgian-Estonian project is to support Georgian vocational education system.
