American Professors share experience with Georgian educators

Under the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Ms. Jill Williams, inclusive education specialist and professor at the University of Kennesaw, USA is visiting Georgia. Ms. Jill Williams is conducting trainings for inclusive education coordinators, special teachers and psychologists working in public schools.

The trainees are discussing issues based on their work experience examples, strategy of working with the children with special educational needs. They are trying to look at the problems from different angles.

Interactive seminar and received information shall assist Georgian specialists in the process of working with pupils having emotional, behavioral and learning problems, physical disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.

Inclusive education represents one of the priorities of the education system. With this aim, the Ministry is implementing a number of important projects.
