Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri awarded the winner teachers of Microsoft World Education Forum with Windows tablets.  

Georgian teachers Marekh Basilidze (#157 Tbilisi Public School), Rusudan Gonashvili (Khornabuji Public School, Dedoplistskaro district) and Tea Nonikashvili (Khidistavi Public School, Gori district) were selected for the participation in Microsoft Education Forum as a result of a competition.

During the Forum, Georgian teachers were working on educational projects together with 250 best teachers from 97 countries using modern technologies. These are long-term projects. 

Microsoft World Education Forum was held in Barcelona, March 11-14. The Forum represents a high-level event.

Microsoft has been implementing a number of educational programs for the past few years in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science and the cooperation is going to continue in future.
