Dimitri Shashkini attended a New Year Concert at the Public School № 200

At the Public School №200, 137 pupils with special
education needs study. Out of them, 110 pupils are provided with boarding. Pupils presented their
handicraft to the Minister and put on some performances. The Minister delivered
New Year presents for the children at the end.
The Minister also met with the teachers of the School. The Minister expressed his gratitude for the teachers’ efforts and presented future plans to be carried out within the education system to them.
Teachers of the Public School №200 work with the pupils in accordance with the individual curricula. They teach them self-care and orientation into the environment through involvement in various activities. They facilitate the integration process of these children into the society. At the same time, the teachers assist other public school teachers in working with children with special education needs.
Deputy Minister Koka Seperteladze and other officials of the Ministry also participated in the event.
