New school for 120 pupils is being built in village Bughasheni, Samtskhe - Javakheti, Akhalkalaki municipality. Today, the Ministerof Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze, Governor of Samtskhe - Javakheti Akaki Machutadze attended the construction process together with the local government representatives and spoke with workers, rural residents , teachers and pupils.
The new school is vitally important to the village as most part of the old school building is in a severe condition and is life- threatening. In order to protect students' safety, Education and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency od the Ministry deemed it reasonable to move the pupils in the safe part of the building and isolate the damaged part before the construction process is finished.
The new school in Bughasheni shall have a modern heating system, classroom-cabinets with modern desks, boards and computers.
Construction of 9 new schools is under way across the country. Hundreds of schools will be rehabilitated for the next school year.
