Infrastructure projects in the Imereti region

Educational institutions’ infrastructure projects are underway. Today, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze, together with the Educational Infrastructure Development Agency and local authorities observed the rehabilitation works in Kutaisi and met with teachers and students.

Kutaisi N12 public school a gym was built and equipped in accordance with modern standards. Over the years, the pupils did not have the proper infrastructure for sports lessons, today this problem is no longer exists and the students enjoy a completely renovated gym. The school also arranged and fully renovated accommodation units, “sarinelis” were made, and facade of the main building was rehabilitated and a doctor's office was arrneged.

In 2013-2014 in Imereti region 255 public school rehabilitation and construction of one public school was made. This year, the region includes 56 public school and vocational college "Iberia" two branches (Kutaisi and Baghdad) rehabilitation and Construction of 2 schools - in village Vani and village Mukhura Public School, is planned, also preparation are made for construction of two schools (Tkibuli 7th and Zestafoni village Argveti public schools) projects. Construction work will begin in 2016.
