A primary classes study resources exhibition has been held organized by USAID and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The exhibition was attended by the Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze and USAID Mission Director Stephen Haykin.

Modern study resources serve introducing innovative methods and strategies in primary classes of 122 Georgian and ethnical pilot public schools. Piloting is being implemented in the frames of US Government-funded Georgia Primary Education Project (G-PriEd). Innovational approaches, participation in study programs and additional resources support effective sudy and significantly increases practical skills of learners.  

Additional materials categorized by levels: large sized books for younger readers and posters, activity cards and manipulatives in mathematics and reading, illustrated cards with texts, kids newspapers for learners and activity cards for parents created by Georgian specialists for enriching lessons were presented at the assorted study resources exhibition.

Color and illustrated material helps learners in developing imagination for travelling in different times, places and cultural environment.

Materials created in the frames of G-PriEd improve learning reading and mathematics and support active exchange of ideas among learners. Entertaining and innovative resources make learning and teaching processes easier.

After closing of G-PriEd Project the materials will be submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and will be available for learners in all public schools of Georgia.
