Georgian Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze met Belorussian Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Zhuraukou, who, with an official delegation, is in Georgia within the framework of the two-day visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.

The Ministers discussed the field of education in the two countries; they talked about current important projects, future plans and enhancement of the bilateral cooperation in the field of education.

“We had the first business meeting with the Georgian Minister of Education and Science and her deputies. The meeting was held constructively and I am very satisfied with it. We discussed the states of the education and science in our countries. We found lots in common. The achievements of your country, that should be studied carefully, were particularly interesting. Our relationship has a promising perspective and I feel very optimistic about it. I am sure that we will have very interesting and efficient projects in the future” - Mikheil Zhuraukou stated.
