Foreign experts share their experience with us

Lia Gigauri, the Georgian Deputy Minister of Education and Science met the International Expert Group for Civic education.

The International Expert Group is on a working visit in Georgia. Within the framework of the visit, they are assisting the Ministry of Education and Science in the process of revising the Civic Education syllabus of the national curriculum, sharing their experience with the Ministry and the representatives of public educational institutions, as well as giving recommendations in order to devise approaches and policies appropriate for teaching civic education effectively.

The purpose of the meeting with Lia Gigauri was to discuss the course of the aforementioned cooperation and set future goals.

The members of the Expert Group are James Langel, John Nelson and Katherine Langel, all of whom have  years of experience working on civic education issues both in the United States and, in terms of consultation, in many countries around the world.

The visit of the International Expert Group is in action within the framework of the educational program “Future Generation”, which is implemented in Georgia by PH International with the financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and under the auspices of  the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
