The memorandum was signed between the governments of Georgia and Estonia

Collaboration memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia and foundation “Inove”. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze, Deputy Secretary General of the General and Vocational Education of Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia Mart Laidmets and the head of council of foundation Inove Birgit Lao Peretso signed the memorandum.

Under the memorandum, the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia will share the experience with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia in such fields as: reforms of teachers’ development, educational strategy and politics. Education and Research foundation of Estonia, with the UNICEF will support the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia in revising and developing the educational plan. Experts in education will share their experience to Georgians in issues of  implementing  educational program policy. Policy for general education of 7-11th graders will we reconsidered. Within the collaboration, the Ministry of Education of Estonia together with UNICEF will provide trainings for Georgian teachers.
