Intellectual Contest “Day of Intellect 2015” has finished

Today, finals of  the largest intellectual contest “Day of Intellect 2015 was held at club “Triumph”. 71 winner schools of the first municipal round of the contest will reveal the most intellectual school of 2015. The Deputy  Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Lia Gigauri and the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia Tariel Khechikashvili attended the event. Giorgi Mosidze, a  president of the Intellect Club “What? Where? When?” was leading the final round.

The teams answered 36 questions in the finals. 3 winner teams have been revealed. A team from Dimitri Kipiani boarding school of Patriarchate of Georgia in Khashuri took the first place, the second place was split between teams of Tsageri public school and Ilia Chavchavadze N1 public school of Batumi. The winners were awarded with prizes (Amazon Kindles and books from Georgian authors) and diplomas. Winner teams of regional round also received the diplomas.

Georgian contest between students in the intellectual game “What? When? Where?” – “Day of Intellect” has been conducted for the fourth time. On April 18, the first municipal round of the project was held on 71 playing fields simultaneously. Teams from up to 1500 schools throughout the Georgia participated in it. The teams have answered 24 questions in the municipal round. Hosts of the game were the famous intellectuals from TV-club “What? Where? When?”.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia and Georgian Intellect-Club “What? Where? When?” are the organizers of this project.
