“I am sure that during these 3 days you will discuss a lot about challenges in the field of public administration. If we take into consideration the fact that, at this stage of development, Georgia is conducting various reforms in public institutes, in self-governing bodies, which makes us closer to European institutes and structures, your vision and opinions are important and interesting for us. Georgia is facing many challenges and association with EU is a top priority among them. Our obligation is to answer these challenges by modernization of public administration, by development of public services and provision an access to them, which in total makes public administration oriented on people and their needs. I think you will agree with me that qualified stuff in public sector is necessary in order to implement these processes successfully.
The host of the conference is Caucasus University. It is supported by: the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, European Commission, Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia.
