The Minister met with representatives of Dubna

Within the framework of visit to Georgia of representatives of member countries of United Institute for Nuclear Researches (Dubna), Tamar Sanikidze, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Deputy Minister Giorgi Sharvashidze and Archil Frangishvili, rector of Georgian Technical University met with members of delegation, including Victor Matveev,  director of Institute for Nuclear Researches.

During the meeting discussion was held about successful activities of representatives of Georgia in projects of Dubna, obtained results and future prospects.

“We think that contribution of Georgian physics is very high in the activity of this Institute. Today we are implementing very ambitious project of world significance which envisages creation of new chemical element and Georgia has an ability to intellectually contribute because we see that Georgian scientists became participants of ambitious world project”, - said Victor Matveev.
