International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) of Germany

The Bundestag of Germany, along with three universities of Berlin, within the framework of International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) programme, is allowing students interested in political issues and workers of public sector from 28 countries around the world, to become directly familiarized with parliamentary governance system of Germany, during several months practice in Berlin.

The goal of programme is to make clear for scholarship holders political developments and a process of decision making in Germany.

Within the frameworks of programme, Bundestag of Germany will pay for arrival, accommodation, insurance and monthly scholarship costs. 

Scholarship holders will have an opportunity to get familiarized with the work of parliamentary bureau of Bundestag during 15 weeks (from March 1 until July 31), attend sessions of committees and factions, and participate in seminars and educational programs of Berlin universities.   

Selection of candidates on the basis of their object, social, language and intercultural competence, will be carried out by independent commission of German parliament, with the participation of representatives of University of Berlin.
