The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Tamar Sanikidze visited “School of Tomorrow” in the river Vere valley. She saw the damage caused by the disaster and heard the problems that have to be solved first. One of the problems is examination for school leaving certificate for students. By the decision of the Minister, the 11th grade students of “School of Tomorrow” will take a pretest and leaving certificate exams at Tbilisi N55 public school.

As for the school, the whole infrastructure is destroyed. Tamar Sanikidze promised the school administration to help finding an alternative building for them. According to the Minister, it is important for the school to renew lessons from a new academic year with little expenses.

In 1992 Earl and Janet Treats founded “School of Tomorrow” in Tbilisi, under Ivane Javakhishvili State University. They are still in charge of the school.

Similar schools function in 145 countries of the world, including America, England, Austria, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan etc. Educational process in this school is divided into English and Georgian curricula. School of Tomorrow has graduates since 1999. The graduates of the school successfully continue studying and working in Georgia, also in various universities of America and Europe. Up to 300 students study in this school now, including foreign students.
