The Minister of Education and Science visited the vocational education and training centers of Ajara region. He visited Kobuleti vocational education and training center, where the trainees are prepared in order to be employed in tourism.
As the Minister noted during his visit in Kobuleti vocational education and training center, strengthening the regional centers by creating comfortable conditions in dormitories , or transport support, strong educational base as well as the technical equipment will attract students’ attention through the whole region. Therefore, Kobuleti dormitory will be fully refurbished before the beginning of the next academic year. As the result, around 300 students will have an opportunity to live in the environment that will be in compliance with international standards. 30 additional classrooms will be also renovated. The training quality will be improved in the case of subsequent infrastructure. Consequently, this will support the development of tourism in Ajara.
The building of Kobuleti vocational education and training center was fully renovated and equipped with the modern technique by the Ministry of Education and Science in 2006-2007. 191 students graduated from the theoretical courses in 2008-2009 and were nominated on practices at different hotels and restaurants.
