Environmental education will be added as a new component in pre-school program. The issue was discussed in “Tiflis Palace” hotel today.  The meeting was opened, by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri, Environment and Natural Resources Minister Gigla Agulashvili and Deputy Minister Teimuraz Murghulia.

According to the Environmental institutions Information and Education Centre initiative management of water resources will be added to the pre-school children training program. After passing the material, the children will know the wastes management and processing principles. They also will be able to rationale the positive results of savings energy and water resources. The goal of the environmental education is to strengthen in kindergartens, pre-school children’s responsibility in attitude to the environment. The meeting was attended by the representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations.
