Frankfurt University named after Goethe held the scientific workshop meeting about the further development of Caucasian Studies for its European integration, which was attended by the Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze, Deputy Minister George Sharvashidze, Frankfurt University Professor Jost Gippert and Professor Manana Tandashvili. They discussed about the development of the Caucasus Studies within the digital humanitarian context. The meeting also discussed the issue of the foundation of Georgian International graduated

School, about student’s exchange programs and in general about the strengthening their collaboration.

The guests presented electronic resources made on the result of 12 international project. Georgian national language Corps, modern research methods in the field of teaching and the use of technology tools used by the University of Frankfurt in Caucasian specialties.

12 international scientific projects, which carried out in 1999 by Jost Gippert and Manana Tandashvili, were participated by 274 Georgian scientists and was financed by German scientific fund Volkswagen Shtiptung for 2 million euros. Manana Tandashvili talked about the  prospects of the sustainable development of digital humanity and presented Batumi summer schools experience, which University of Frankfurt carries for the fifth time in Shota Rustaveli State University.
