103th school in numerous Metromsheni settlement is being built. The Tbilisi city hall is building a new school designed for 1000 students instead of the demolished old one. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze along with Educational Scientific infrastructure Agency got introduced the construction process.

#103 public school construction is one of the large-scale project. The similar project in the capital has not been carried out in decades. The school’s new building, which will be operational in 2016-2017 academic year will be according to modern standards. The school will be adapted for the students with special educational needs. It will have heating system, indoors gym, assembly-room, library, natural science lab. There will be arranged ramps, elevators, adapted bathrooms, doctor’s office, canteen, and the new inventory. Five and half million will be spent on this project.

#103 public school is Georgian- Armenian. While the school building is being reconstructed the students temporarily are in #157 public school. The Ministry has appointed a school-bus for the student’s transportation.
