Kachreti Vocational College "Aisi" branch located in Akhmeta Municipality village Kvemo Alvani, complete rehabilitation is being carried out.  Very soon, another modern standards vocational institution with renewed infrastructure will continue functioning. First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Ketevan Natriashvili got acquainted with the current rehabilitation works.

Alvani branch was given to vocational institution ‘Aisi’ in 2007, but rehabilitation works has not been carried out until now. Accordingly, the building required complete reconstruction. Modern standards studying blocks will be provided with new educational and office inventory, will be equipped with modern computer technologies, the institution will be ensured with modern heating and air-conditioning systems. The college will be adapted to special needs students.

Programs which are implemented in Alvani branch, completely fit the municipality needs. The college mainly operates tourism, handicrafts, art programs, as well as programs that promote entrepreneurship development in the region.

Second floor of the building will be dedicated to the hotel, where the students will do practices. The hotel will be dormitory as well where the socially vulnerable students as well as the students from neighboring villages will be accommodated.
