Before the beginning of a new academic year, Tamar Sanikidze visited a number of schools as in Tbilisi, as well as in regions. She was introduced to the preparation process of a new academic year. One of the schools she visited is #126 public school, where 1070 pupils study. Rehabilitation works took taking place since last year and continued until summer of this year. It should be said that after the rehabilitation works at school, there was a significant increase in number of the pupils.

#126 public school building was extremely damaged. Construction works were conducted, during the last two years the roof was changed, heating system was renewed, library and computer rooms were equipped with proper inventory, doctor cabinet, classrooms and halls were renewed. Rehabilitation works were divided in two parts and for now, the school is entirely restored.

It should be mentioned that 11 pupils with special needs study at #129 public school. Designing of special rooms for them is planned until the end of current year. Psychologist and special teacher will work with them. The school also will be provided with new sport stadium, which was promised by the minister.
