New school building was opened at village of Zeda Vani in Vani Municipality. The Deputy Minister of Education of Georgia Lia gigauri, First Deputy State Attorney-Governor of Kutaisi Paata Nadiradze and the member of the parliament Davit Lortkifanidze congratulated the students beginning of a new academic year and wished them success.
From now on, 122 pupils out of which10 are first graders, will learn in a modern standard building. Construction of a new school building was carried out during this year and the school the received the pupils for the first time. It should be noted that village Zeda Vani school did not have a school building for 27 years and learning process took place in a damaged building. New building, intended for 192 pupils, meets modern standards with proper classrooms and inventory. School has doctor cabinet and is adapted to the pupils with special needs. On the first day of the academic year first graders were given laptops and all the pupils were provided with school textbooks.
Village of Zeda Vani share borders with villages Gandidi and Onjokheti, where only primary schools are located. After finishing primary schools, the pupils continue studying at Zeda Vani public school.
Local authorities and representatives of the ministry visited several public schools and congratulated the beginning of a new academic year. They met teachers and discussed current and already implementer projects.
