Throughout the history of Georgian science, two scientific journals will be placed on the biggest international scientific base ‘Elsevier’. The agreement was signed at Rustaveli National Science foundation of the ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
Georgian English-language scientific journals include ‘Andria Razmadze Matematical Institute Papers’ and "The Chronicle of Agricultural Sciences’ by the Agricultural University of Georgia’. The mentioned journals were chosen by the ‘Elsevier’ representatives, since they met all the standards required by the international scientific journals.
Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Foundation has been cooperating with ‘Elsevier’ since 2014, as a result of which, Georgian scientists have access to ‘Elsevier’ largest international scientific base. They have access not only to the short summaries, but also to the full versions of all the scientific works published in the world. Besides that, it is possible to get citation and other bibliometric information.
Shota Rustaveli National Foundation also gained access to SciVal Funding™- search database of financing scientists and scientific projects and reviewers.
Successful partnership goes on and now, Rustaveli foundation will fund infrastructural development and placement of the two Georgian journals at ‘’Elsevier ‘base for three years.
