The ministry of Education and science of Georgia LEPL School Resource Officers of Educational Institutions and National Association of School Resource Officers US made joint press conference about the issue: ‘safe school’. The deputy minister, Lia Gigauri attended the event.

The press conference, which was attended by NASRO executive director James Morris Kenned, the Head of School Resource Officers of Educational Institutions Vakhtang Meifariani and other invited guests, they talked about the concept of a safe school, besides, they discussed about the prevention of violence at educational institutions.

It is important that National Association of School Resource Officers US will hold special trainings for Georgian colleagues during their stay in Georgia. That will help school resource officers to prevent crime, and create safe atmosphere in schools. 

The cooperation between Georgian School Resource Officers and The US National Association of School Officers-NASRO continues actively.  The association is one of the largest training organizations in the world. It provides the educational service to certified law enforcement officers, school safety and educational personnel including teachers and school administrators. The association implements innovational approaches to legislative education as in the US, as well as in other countries of the world.
