Three days long National Qualifications Framework. The regional conference named ‘Mutual learning for better qualifications’ concerning to national qualification framework and curriculum development opens. The event is organized within the Platform 4, by the European Training fund (ETF) and the Ministry of education and Science of Georgia Supports the event. The conference was attended by Giorgi Sharvashidze (deputy minister of ministry of education and science of Georgia), representatives of European Union in Georgia, representatives of ministries of education of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.
The event is focused on to promote sharing knowledge and experiences among countries in order to develop and modernize national qualifications framework and curriculum. That will help representatives of participant countries to create a mutual platform, manage to identify barriers in the system and share successful examples with interested sides. In the form of discussion, during the conference the sides will have opportunity to get acquainted with modern tendencies in terms of the framework of qualifications, in order to plan the implementation process in the context of formal and informal education recognition.
In relation to National Qualifications Framework, future tendencies and essential challenges will be discussed during the conference. There also will be discussion about current experiences of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine.
