Within the framework of the project ‘sharing a successful experience of Estonia in order to support the development of vocational education in Georgia’, first deputy minister Ketevan Natriashvili attended the conference named ‘Festival of Vocational Education Development’. The conference was attended by the ambassador of Estonia in Georgia Mr. Priit Turk, General Director of Estonian Ministry of Education and Research in Vocational Education Mart Laidmets, the Head of Vocational education Development Department Heleo Hollo, the Director of fund ‘Innove’ Lea Oro and other officials.
The event will be held on 6 and 7 October. The fund ‘INNOVE’ Organizes the project with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The participants are Estonian delegation consists of 30 officials and the representatives of 16 vocational education program provider establishments and other interested individuals. The two sides discussed achieved results within the framework of ten-year successful partnership, they considered challenges existed in vocational education and spoke about future cooperation perspectives.
At the "Vocational Education Festival" Georgian-Estonian exhibition space was arranged, where vocational education student works were exhibited by the educational institutions. During the event, the video will be shown, which reflects 10 years of professional education cooperation of Georgia and Estonia.
In terms of vocational education, Georgia and Estonia are tied with many years of successful collaboration with each other, which is going to be maintained.
