The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Tamar Sanikidze held a meeting with ‘Volkswagen’ General secretary Wilhelm Krul and other representatives of the fund. The sides discussed the perspectives the educational development and financing different educational programs at the direction of doctoral degree stage in terms of teaching and researching.
The meeting was attended by Shota Rustaveli named national scientific fund director Marina Chitashvili and the rector of Ilia State University Giga Zedania. The discussion was regarding future cooperation, specifically, the development of Georgian researchers’ and doctorates’ opportunities. They also talked about future perspectives of doctorates in terms of qualification and research activities as well.
As ‘Volkswagen’ General secretary Wilhelm Krul says, meeting held with Tamar Sanikidze vas very interesting and it is very important that Georgian and German scientists have opportunities for cooperation.
‘Volkswagen’ fund is one of the biggest sponsors in the world. It finances research projects in every field of science since 1962.
