The Konrad Adenauer Foundation implemented this project, which lasted two years. Its purpose is to strengthen the teaching of civic education. Within the framework of the project, civic education teachers from the regions (including regions populated with ethnic minority areas) have been allowed to go through intensive training on the modern methods of civic education teaching.
It is worth mentioning that under close cooperation with National Curriculum Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, a new standard of social sciences has been developed.
In the course of the project, Georgian delegation visited The German Federal Agency for Civic Education, acquainted with civic education programs in Germany and had the opportunity to establish contacts with colleagues.
At the final conference, discussion also took place on the contemporary challenges of civic education, with the participation of German and Georgian experts.
