Ilia State University Rector Giga Zedania signed a Memorandum of Understanding between 40 general educational institution. The event was attended by the minister deputy Giorgi Sharvashidze.

Government decree of 20 February in 2015, entered into force, "a teacher at the start of activities, professional development and career development" scheme. The document sets out the university teacher-training concept, which aims to practice-oriented training of the teacher profession.

Looking through all the areas of school life, to establish a close link between university education in the theoretical part and the practical part of school life, which enables a student to transfer the theoretical knowledge to real learning environments.

These can only be achieved through close cooperation between universities and secondary schools.
