First in the history of Georgian education was held the conference named ‘ Involvement of parents in the school life’. The conference was attended by the parents from the different regions of Georgia, teachers, school heads, experts, psychologs, and various representatives of non-governmental and international organisations.

Ministry of Science Education of Georgia is creating various educational projects, in order to involve parents in school life, give them information in order  to improve the partnership. This year was firstly written down the statements about the relationship between school and parents.

The aim of parent conference was to examine such actual issues, such as the role of parent in the process of education, the significance of communication between parents and children, the effect of violence on the children development, inclusion and etc.

During the conference parents had opportunities to discuss about various important issues, set questions, and listen to the competent advices from specialists. On the meeting they took into consideration almost all active issues, touched to the children and parent relationship. They shares knowledge and experience. There were also discussions about ways  how to solve problems.
