The third conference of the Women’s Forum was held at the Assembly, where the women held meetings with the members of the local government, the central government, non-governmental organizations and international organizations. Many important issues were discussed at the forum, including the government proposed reform of pre-school education.
At the forum, the head of the Parliament's Human Rights Committee - Eka Beselia presented a Bill for the early and pre-school upbringing and education, which was developed jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The Deputy Minister of Education and Science - Lia Gigauri, presented the results regarding the strategy of pre-school education, school readiness and its implementation process.
