Today a national report was presented at the National Assessment and Examination Center for Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS). In 2014, 440 school principals and more than 6,000 teachers participated in the study. The study was conducted in more than 35 countries worldwide.
The next cycle of TALIS is to be conducted in 2018, Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia and Millennium Challenge corporation is funding the both research cycles fully.
TALIS is the first international survey, designed to help the participating countries to implement the effective policy in professional development. Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) 2008 was held to enhance the professional activities related to various aspects of professional development, such as; assessment and feedback, profession and job satisfaction, teachers, school activities, teaching the use of strategies and methods, attitudes and values.
