Ms. Sutidze has spent over half a century successfully working in the field, which is quite complex to many women. She is the only female professor, who directly participated, 55 years ago, in establishing a department of construction and road machinery and equipment. She is also the author of more than 50 scientific articles and books, reading specific lectures in numerous regions of Georgia and her notable contribution towards creating a dictionary of technical terminologies.

Professor Robert Diakonidze, has spent 45 years working at the Georgian Technical University. He authored more than 70 scientific articles, participated in 14 research projects and is currently working on a grant project which entails assessing the quality of sea water in conjunction with evaluating the stability of Black Sea coastline. In the course of working on the grant projects, in the period of 2010-2015, Professor Diakonidze managed to inject additional 500,000 GEL to the Institute’s budget, resulting in the employment of 35 people.

On June 13, 2015 Professor Robert Diakonidze amongst other professionals, was directly involved in creating preventive measures for handling a disaster which occurred at the hands of River Vere. The government found it necessary to implement the recommendations given by the above-mentioned group. He set a resolution for a predictive value ofmaximum water discharge. Furthemore, he is the author of more than 50 preventive academic work for natural disasters.

This is an incomplete list of deeds of these two worthy and respected scientists. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Ms. Tamar Sanikidze express her gratitude for their outstanding academic work and research, and wished them health and future success.
