The implementation of professional orientation and career planning pilot project has initiated since November 2013. The project is implemented by the department of professional orientation and career planning for Mandatory Guard Service of Ministry of Education and Science. For the academic year of 2015-2016, the project has enlisted 892 public schools across Georgia. The program is being carried out in three different directions: the students of IX and XI grade are receiving sessions of professional orientation and career planning, study tours and meeting with the professionals in various industries.
The aim of the professional orientation and career planning is to aid the students of IX and XI grade to develop their interests, abilities and perspectives and to choose the right profession.
Within the professional orientation and career planning framework, the students of IX and XI grade of Tbilisi public schools met with the poet – Rati Amaghlobeli, where he spoke about his own vocation. The meeting was very interesting, and was carried out in a discussion mode.
