The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Mr. Aleksandre Jejelava held a meeting with the representatives of Batumi public school, which mainly consisted of teachers, principals and general members of region’s educational sector. This was the first official business meeting of the Minister. As stated by Mr. Aleksandre Jejelava, a direct communication with Batumi public school representatives are of paramount important, and is very necessary as well.
The Minister informed the participants of its vision and future plans, in conjunction with listening to their evaluation of the current general education reform. He also noted, that the reform will not be changed, but it will only improve by having a firm cooperation with school teachers and principals in future. By the end of the meeting, the Minister responded to the audience’s questions.
