Preparation for the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO – 48) is in an active phase. Supported by the Georgian government an international Olympiad in chemistry will be held for the first time in the country.
From July 23 to August 1, 700 representatives of up to 80 different countries will arrive in Georgia in order to participate in the “Olympiad 2016”.
For making an Olympiad worth happening, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is actively collaborating with the ministries of Healthcare, Economics, Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs and the National Tourism Administration.
The Minister Education and Science of Georgia, Aleksandre Jejelava today held a meeting with the business sector and with those companies who are involved in the chemical industry and generally are connected with the chemistry. He also met the companies for which the social responsibility is the priority.
According to the minister chemistry Olympiad will be greatly supported by the business sector and allocated additional resources will be used to promote chemistry among school students.
