On 14^th July, students will gather at Tech Park and meet with the members of the International Supervisory Board of Shota Rustaveli National Science Fund and the Georgian educational experts.

Participants of the meeting will discuss the topics such as: academic freedom, university autonomy, organizational structure of the university, integration of the research and education, grant funding, external evaluation and so on…students will receive a chance to meet with Georgian and foreign scientists, among who also are the professors: Nil MacFarlane, Roger Cashmore, Melita Kovachevich, Zaza Kokaia and others. Platform of Higher Education and Science was created by the initiative of the Georgian government at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, little time ago. In scales of the platform, the first meeting between the students and the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Giorgi Sharvashidze had been held at the library of the newly built student dormitory where the main topics, such as the autonomy of the university, ensuring the academic freedom, quality enhancement, increasing the number of the students involved into the processes and others were agreed to be discussed. In scales of the educational development platform, meetings will keep happening in an intensive regime in the future as well.
