International Education Center, holds a two-day forum for the scholarship beneficiary students at “Kachteri Ambassadori”. Forum aims to provide a variety of international programs for the next generation of students, in conjunction with the students to get acquainted and build a mutual support. Forum is attended by the post-graduate students, as well as the current grant holders, and the winners of the 2016-2017 academic year.
The opening ceremony for the forum, was attended by the Minister of Education and Science – Aleksandre Jejelava. During this two-day forum, the students will be able to get to know the current programs, initiatives and changes that are happening at the Center. The winners of the 2016-2017 academic year programs will have the opportunity to meet with the current grant holders and the committee members (the representatives of Georgian government and international organizations). In addition, they will discuss with the members of the Center, the rights of the beneficiaries, and they will share their experience with the new wave of students. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to receive the information regarding the specifics of studying abroad, in conjunction with having the opportunity to work together and outline the possible outcomes for the future employment in Georgia.
The forum will offer students and graduates a total of eight sessions. The forum sessions imply the format of presentation and panels, as well as workshops and working in an open space (Open Space Technology), where the risen challenges can be tackled by the scholarship holders themselves. The two-day forum will give the employment opportunities to the beneficiaries as well as the graduates, prepare them for the international exposure and prepare them for the active academic challenges.
