The Minister of Education and Science - Aleksandre Jejelava continues his journey to get acquainted with the educational and scientific - research institutions. This time, he visited Georgian Technical University’s Physics block, and inspected a brand new physics laboratory which is located in the building. It is important to note, that the laboratory was set up by the university teachers and students, and now it is considered to be the best laboratory in Europe, which is recognized by MIT and Harvard universities, and is frequently used by CERN. This particular Physics laboratory is frequently visited by the students who are interested to start their career in natural sciences and physics. 

Aleksandre Jejelava, got acquainted with the works of Bachelor, Master’s and PhD students of the university, and what kind of work they conduct in the worlds leading scientific centers. The Minister got also introduced with the unique virtual laboratory, which was created entirely by the university professors and its students. Moreover, the Minister had the pleasure of meeting with the Georgian scientists, who are involved in the Nuclear Joint Institute (DUBN), KEK (Japan) and CERN (Switzerland) joint projects. Georgian physicists are successfully working in the worlds’ leading international projects.
