The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Aleksandre Jejelava held an introductory – informative meeting at the Tbilisi State Medical University. The meeting was attended by the Tbilisi State Medical University Rector – Dr. Zurab Vadachkoria, Chancellor - Professor Zurab Ordzhonikidze, Vice-Rectors: Professor Khatuna Todadze and Rima Beriashvili, as well as Tbilisi State Medical University administration and members of its research institutions.

Dr. Zurab Vadachkoria introduced the achievements of the Tbilisi State Medical University to the Minister. In addition, he focused on the enrollment high barrier, but despite the fact, there is still high number of students wishing to apply. Moreover, there is a big interest from the foreign students as well as the employment rate upon graduation.

Aleksandre Jejelava noted that the achievements of the Medical University are obvious, and this is a huge success. Afterwards, the Minister introduced his visions and future action plans to the representatives of the Medical University.
